Ask your Oregon legislator to support home energy efficiency tax credits
OREGON NEEDS ENERGY EFFICIENCY. CALL OR EMAIL YOUR LEGISLATORS TODAY!
Key House bill includes Home Solar incentives, but Energy Efficiency still needs to be added
We have a new and perhaps final chance in this legislative session to assure that Oregon will continue to offer home energy efficiency tax credits to go along with home solar incentives.
Please contact your senator and your representative today and ask them to support the addition of the Home Performance Tax Credit amendment to HB 2066 to go along with its companion, the Residential Incentive for Solar Energy (RISE) amendment.
When you contact your legislators, tell them:
- Energy efficiency and home solar tax credits together benefit tens of thousands of Oregon families every year.
- They support local energy efficiency businesses and solar installers. They help local merchants sell high-efficiency appliances. And they create local jobs for installers, carpenters, electricians, and laborers.
- They’re also one of our most effective ways to fight carbon emissions and climate change.
And, if you’ve personally benefitted from an energy efficiency or home solar tax credit, tell them that too and what it means to you.
