Data Centers 101: Climate and Environmental Justice

On August 19, we held the first webinar in our Energy Justice series in partnership with Front and Centered, “Shifting Power on Data Centers.”

In the webinar, “Data Centers 101: Climate and Environmental Justice,” we shared more about the different types of data centers and how they work, as well as the environmental and health impacts of hyperscale data centers on frontline communities. Kelly Campbell, Policy Director for Columbia Riverkeeper, also shared her insights on hyperscale data center development along the Columbia River.
