Coalition honors I-937 architect with Headwaters Award
Danielle Dixon, a primary architect of Washington state’s paradigm-changing clean energy law, Initiative 937, received the NW Energy Coalition’s Headwaters Award during a recent meeting of the Coalition’s Washington caucus. NWEC executive director
Nancy Hirsh gave the former Coalition senior policy associate the traditional plaque picturing the Columbia River headwaters in British Columbia and a vial of water drawn from that site. The Headwaters is awarded annually to a member the NWEC’s extended family to recognize exceptional leadership for the a clean and affordable energy future.
