4 Under Forty celebration a huge success!

We are so happy many people in the Seattle area could join us last week to recognize and thank the Four Under Forty honorees for the outstanding work they do every day. The evening was a great success!
All of us were moved by the honorees’ stories, by the words of support for the Coalition, and by the contributions from so many to sustain our clean energy work.
Hearing the honorees speak to what motivated them to work for clean energy was inspiring. And it was great to hear their visions for a clean energy future in our region.
Congratulations again to each of the honorees:
- Tara Anderson, managing director of SustainableWorks
- Jessica Finn Coven, Washington state director of Climate Solutions
- Benjamin Otto, energy associate for the Idaho Conservation League
- Gus Takala, senior energy management engineer for Puget Sound Energy
At the celebration, we also presented two additional awards to honor clean and affordable energy change-makers:
The 2014 Headwaters Award Winner:
The Bullitt Foundation
Denis Hayes, President and CEO
The Inaugural Doug Still Memorial Organizing Award Winner
Kathleen Ridihalgh
Senior Regional Representative, Sierra Club
Also, thank you to our fabulous master of ceremonies for the evening, Rashad Morris of the Bullitt Foundation.
Support from individuals in the community is vital to the future of clean energy in our region. Your involvement allows the Coalition to blend diverse voices with unparalleled policy expertise to create the best energy solutions for our region. We cannot thank you enough!
