Nancy E. Ryan, an economist with more than two decades of energy and environmental policy experience, is E3’s electric transportation leader. Her keynote speech will highlight transportation electrification as a critical pathway to decarbonizing the economy and meeting our 2050 emissions-reduction goals. She will address utilities’ role as well as several critical revenue, cost and bill payer issues.
Dr. Ryan has held high-level appointed positions at the California Public Utilities Commission where she guided development of California’s policies in electric transportation, renewable energy, smart grid, energy storage, and long-term planning and procurement.
