A Tale of Two Rivers reception and program on fish, dams, whales, and people — Seattle, Jan. 24th
The evening will feature a reception followed by a program featuring Lynda Mapes, Seattle Times reporter, Rocky Barker, Idaho Statesman reporter, with Jeff Renner, formerly of KING5 as emcee – about Northwest salmon, orca, and people, and rivers and dams and politics – with a focus on the Elwha River in western Washington and the lower Snake River in eastern Washington. Opening welcome by Ken Workman of the Duwamish Tribe.
Doors open and reception begins at 6:30 pm. The reception will feature Duke’s chowder and other foods, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages
Program begins at 7:15 pm.
