Renewable Northwest's Megan Decker new chair of NW Energy Coalition board

Megan_DeckerMegan Decker, chief counsel to Portland-based Renewable Northwest, has been elected chair of the NW Energy Coalition. Decker previously served as vice chair and was instrumental in leading the Coalition’s organizational transition over the past year.

 

Other officers elected to two-year terms at the July 16 board meeting were:

-Ben Otto, Idaho Conservation League, vice chair
-George Pohndorf, Seattle-based individual member, treasurer
-Penny Cochrane, Vancouver, B.C.-based Pacific Energy Innovation Association, secretary

The board also adopted amended bylaws reflecting changes in board composition and mission and clarifying the roles of individual and organizational members.

In addition, the board scheduled the Coalition’s spring 2016 conference for May 19-20 in Missoula, Mont. Please save the date!

The board also worked on topics for this year’s fall NW Clean & Affordable Energy Conference and Awards Gala, to he held Thursday and Friday, Dec. 3-4, in Seattle.
